Today is Monday the 26th.  This is how our mini-wiener dogs travel in the RV.  They are missing the magnificent geology in Utah.  So far we've had a very bad sound from the front of the RV the first day out.  The next day the sound had disappeared and hasn't repeated (I couldn't find anything wrong in the morning).  And the Sattilite radio says there's no antenna attached with I'm driving.  But when I'm stopped it works fine.  We get up when we wake up and take our time moving out.  Then drive for a while before "calling-it" for the day.  One thing we've noticed is that if you don't stop early enough in the day you don't get a parking spot at the truck stops.

Here we are on the afternoon of Saturday the 24th of March, 2012 just prior to taking off on our great adventure.  We are fully loaded and measure approx 57' front to rear.  The harley is covered with two furniture moving blankets and a large waterproof tarp (of course!).  These pictures were kindly taken by Pinewood Fire Fighters.
And the snowstorm hits.....  27" the weekend before our planned takeoff date.  So many little things to clean, tidy up and still load on the coach.  This stuff needs to melt fast.

12 days before departure and the snow has finally melted from our front and back yards.  It's time for some serious loading of the coach.  HOWEVER, the weather report has a major snowstorm coming this Sunday with 8-12 inches of snow!  Booooo
