Here is an old elevated train tressel located on the outskirts of Orofino.  This area historically is a lumber town.  I asked if the train still used it and was told they thought so.  I haven't seen any trains moving in or out of Orofino in the 3 months we've been here.
Also on the outskirts of Orofino is this abandoned one room school house.  I talked with a lady at a shoe store downtown and she told me that she attended it when she was a kid.
This little frog is a "regular" and if often seen sitting on the credit card machine the ranger used to have people pay for their camp sites.
After a time chewing on this stick Zoe decides she had to roll on it.  It's camping with a Doxie!

We drove about 20 miles to Elk River.  The population is less than 90 full time residents.  This lodge/store was very fun to walk around in just to check out all the taxidermy.  We had Huckleberry ice cream cones while we were there.
Although an overcast day these geese added a perfect touch to the calm water of Elk River.  I collected a couple of geese feathers I found at the shore line to add to a walking stick I've carved.
The "not-so-fun" part of the rv live style.  Here is Cathy trying out our new sprayer.  She had to put on that t-shirt around her face because if you lift the sprayer out too far you will get a..... let's just say it's less that ideal.
